Tom Latham’s poor form is a big worry for the Canterbury Kings. The opening batsman has scored 0, 18 and 0 in the three matches he has played in this edition of the Super Smash

and the team will be hoping that he finds form in this match against the Central Stags. Cole McConchie, however, is doing a good job with the bat. The skipper is amongst the season’s top five batsmen with 173 runs. Henry Nicholls struck a quickfire 25-ball 40 in the last game against the Knights and he will be expected to make another healthy contribution here. Central Districts vs Canterbury Betting Odds

Central Stags are favorites to win this Super Smash match at odds of 1.62 on Betfair while Canterbury Kings find themselves as outsiders with a 2.24 offer on the same bookmaker.

Central Districts vs Canterbury Prediction

Central Stags have been impressive in this year’s Super Smash and they are currently placed second in the league standings with three wins, a couple of defeats and a washout from six matches. Canterbury Kings, on the flipside, have been struggling since the start of the tournament and they are languishing at the bottom of the points table with just one win from six matches. While the Stags won their last two matches and have the momentum on their side, the Kings are coming on the back of four consecutive losses. The Stags also have the psychological advantage of having beaten the Kings four times in their last five attempts in addition to having the home advantage. Central Stags have clearly looked the better of the two sides so far and we expect them to register their third consecutive win.
