DD vs RGR Head to Head

Dhaka Dynamites and Rangpur Riders last met in the 2017 Bangladesh Premier League final – where the Riders claimed their fourth win in seven previous meetings with the Dynamites. Dhaka have lost more games to Rangpur, as a result, than to any other BPL team. Chris Gayle was the star of their last meeting, smashing five fours and an incredible 18 sixes in a 69-ball 146 not out. Gayle’s unbroken second-wicket partnership of 201 with Brendon McCullum lifted the Riders to 206/1. In reply, wickets fell regularly and Jahurul Islam’s 38-ball 50 was one of few highlights as the Dynamites struggled to 149/9 and a 57-run defeat.

Dhaka Dynamites vs Rangpur Riders Betting Odds

After an explosive start to the tournament, Dhaka Dynamites are a best price of 1.66 with Bet365 to beat Rangpur Riders; Betfair are offering 1.50 on the Dynamites and 2.62 on the Riders.

Surprisingly, considering he has top scored in both matches so far, Hazratullah Zazai is 6.50 to finish as the match’s top run scorer, though the presence of his idol – and the hero of the last match between these two – Chris Gayle in the opposition could be the reason for that. Gayle is 6.00 with Betfair.

Nevertheless, Hazratullah and Sunil Narine have been in brilliant form at the top of the order, and Dhaka Dynamites are 1.80 with Bet365 and 1.83 with Betfair to post the highest opening partnership again.

Dhaka Dynamites vs Rangpur Riders Prediction

Dhaka Dynamites, led by Hazratullah Zazai’s superb batting, have been the form team in the Bangladesh Premier League so far and they can gain a little revenge on Rangpur Riders for last season’s final defeat.
