Khulna Titans have won the toss on three occasions so far, fielding first twice before unsuccessfully batting first last time out. Both teams to win the toss that day batted, however – perhaps a sign the pitch is starting to wear quicker.

CHV Team News
Chittagong Vikings have fielded the same XI for the first two matches so far, with Mohammad Shahzad and Cameron Delport opening the batting. Sikandar Raza and Robert Frylinck are their other overseas players, with the selection leaning towards batting strength – though Frylinck has been their outstanding player so far.
CHV Key Players
Robert Frylinck claimed 4-14 from four overs in the opening game, helping to dismiss defending champions Rangpur Riders for 98 from their 20 overs – Frylinck dismissed each of the top three and returned to end Sohag Gazi’s lower-order flurry too. In the second game, he counted Liton Das and David Warner among his victims with figures of 3-26, but the Vikings fell just short in the chase – despite himself scoring an unbeaten 44 from 24 balls.
He has been backed in both games by Nayeem Hasan, who took 2-10 against the Rangpur Riders and 1-20 against Sylhet Sixers. Had the duo’s economy rate been matched by their other team-mates, the Vikings would probably have gone on to win.
With the bat, Afghanistan’s Mohammad Shahzad opens with Cameron Delport, with both men having enjoyed success elsewhere – the former starring in the Afghanistan Premier League and the latter posting some useful scores for Paarl Rocks in Mzansi Super League most recently. Both can be dangerous at their best.
CHV Team Form
Chittagong Vikings bowled defending champions Rangpur Riders out for just 98 in the first match, with Robert Frylinck claiming 4-14 from four overs with the ball. In a patient reply, Chittagong Vikings claimed a three-wicket win with five balls to spare.
Last time out, however, they fell just short chasing Sylhet Sixer’s 168/5 – after Frylinck claimed 3-26. Cameron Delport hit 38 from 22 balls and Sikandar Raza 37 from 28, but left Frylinck too much to do with the bat. He hit 44 from 24 balls, helping the Vikings take 32 from the final two overs, but they still finished on 163/7 – a five-run defeat.

KT Team News
Dawid Malan replaced injured Ali Khan for the match against Rajshahi Kings but the England batsman could not prevent another low score for Khulna Titans. Nevertheless, they may be unchanged for the first time when they face Chittagong Vikings – unless Carlos Brathwaite can muscle his way back in to contention.
KT Key Players
Runs have been hard to come by for the Khulna Titans so far, but Junaid Siddique has at least showed a bit of form, scoring a patient 33 from 30 in the first game, 31 from 16 in the second and then 23 from 18 last time out – the latter two were the Titans’ top scores in those matches.
Paul Stirling is the only batsman to pass 50 so far, which he did when he hit 61 from 46 balls in the opening game. Stirling’s part-time off-spin has also brought three wickets so far, and big ones too – Hazratullah Zazai and Shakib Al Hasan against Dhaka Dynamites, before ending Rajshahi Kings’ 89-run second-wicket partnership last time out.
Dawid Malan will hope for runs having made his first appearance last time out – he has hit four T20 international half-centuries in just five appearances for the English national team.
David Wiese took 2-24 in his first match, against Dhaka Dynamites, meanwhile, to show what he can bring to the bowling line-up. The Titans now need someone to step up with him – perhaps Afghani spinner Zahir Khan, who took 1-18 last time out.
KT Team Form
Khulna Titans have failed to impress so far, with three defeats from their first three matches. They elected to bowl first against Rangpur Riders and were set 170 to win. Paul Stirling’s 61 from 46 balls set the tone, but they ultimately fell to an eight-run defeat.
The following two games have been charactised by Titans’ batting collapses, meanwhile. Replying to Dhaka Dynamites’ 192/6 in their second match, Khulna finished 87 all out in just 13 overs. They batted out their overs last time out, against Rajshahi Kings, but scored just 117/9 from them on their way to a seven-wicket loss. They sit bottom of the points table so far as a result.
